Itasca State Park ramping up spring activities 

It’s a busy month of Activities at Itasca State Park as they have over a dozen events planned for this May. Itasca State Park Lead Interpretive Naturalist Connie Cox says events kick off on May 11 with their Bird Spotting Program. 

Later that afternoon Cox says the Itasca State Park Jr Naturalist Program will resume with a focus on the native frog population. 

Later on in May will be one of the busiest weekends of the year in Memorial Day weekend where there will be eight different events going on. Cox highlights some of the events going on that weekend as well.
