Its National Fire Prevention Week 

It’s National Fire Prevention Week, and local fire departments across the region are taking part, by promoting ways that you can prevent a fire. Each year, there’s a theme for Fire Prevention Week, and Twin Valley Fire Chief Pete Pazdernik says this year’s theme centers around Lithium Ion Batteries. 

Pazdernik says Fire Prevention Week also serves as a great reminder to get your smoke detector checked.

Pazdernik is new to the Twin Valley Fire Chief position, and he’s happy to say that things have been going well at the Twin Valley Fire Department as of late, as they have recently made some equipment upgrades.
