Janna Engel to be inducted into Ada Borup West Hall of Fame 

This Saturday, former North Dakota State volleyball player, and Ada Borup Alumna Janna Engel (Ruebke)  will be one of the four individuals inducted into the Ada Borup West Hall of Fame. R&J News had the opportunity to catch up with Engel, who tells us what it’s like to not only be going into the Ada Borup West Hall of Fame, but also the NDSU Hall of Fame later this month. 

Engel says she wouldn’t have seen the success she’s had if it wasn’t for the support she received along the way, and she highlights some of the people who had big impacts on her both during, and after her playing career. 

While her playing career is over, Engel continues to be involved in the sport of Volleyball, by coaching the Ada Borup West Cougar Volleyball team. Engel tells us what it’s like to be able to give back to the sport and school that gave her so many opportunities.
