Jim Joy addresses 2023/2024 Tax increases 

In 2024 the State of Minnesota was busy creating new programs and policies that raised the taxes of Minnesota across. Minnesota State Representative Jim Joy who is also a member of the State Taxes committee says that the Legislature needs to start considering more tax relief programs after a record year for spending. 

Joy says it’s also important to not pick and choose who gets taxed and who gets tax relief and that the state needs to do a better job of not rushing new legislation.
