John Hintz elected to the Norman County Commission
Three Norman County Commission Races were on the ballot this election, and for District 4, it was a tight race, as Ada Mayor John Hintz defeatedAda City Council member Thomas Opheim collecting 51% of the vote. R&J News caught up with Hintz after the results came in, and he says he’s humbled and thankful for the support.
Hintz says he wanted to run for County Commission in order to bring experience and a new perspective to the table.
Hintz says he’s also looking forward to working with the other new commission electees, who were voted in on Tuesday night.
District 3 electee Andrew Jossund, and District 2 electee Josh Mathsen join Hintz as newcomers to the Norman County Commission.
