Johnson Drops Out Of MN 1B State House Race
A Beltrami man has ended his campaign for the Minnesota House of Representatives. Travis “Bull” Johnson announced Monday he is permanently suspending his campaign for House seat 1B. He had temporarily suspended the campaign after failing to get the Republican endorsement in April. East Grand Forks Mayor Steve Gander was endorsed by Minnesota Republicans. Incumbent 1B Representative Republican Deb Kiel of Crookston is retiring after this year’s session. Johnson says he’s keeping his options open for a possible run for political office in 2026.
