Johnson Responds To DFL Calls For Sen. Mitchell’s Resignation

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and DFL Party Chair Ken Martin are calling for State Senator Nicole Mitchell to resign.  Thursday’s announcement comes more than a month after she was arrested for allegedly breaking into her stepmother’s home in Detroit Lakes….and after the end of the Minnesota Legislative session.  Senate Minority Leader Mark Johnson of East Grand Forks believes the DFL used Mitchell to keep their slim majority in the Senate.

For her part, Mitchell says she doesn’t intend to resign from the Minnesota Senate.
