Johnson To Run As Republican In MN 1B House Race

An announced candidate for the Minnesota House District 1B seat says he’ll run as a Republican.  Travis “Bull” Johnson of Beltrami had considered running as a third party candidate, but announced Wednesday that he’ll run as a Republican in November’s election..  Johnson joins East Grand Forks Mayor Steve Gander as announced Republican candidates for the State House seat being vacated by Representative Deb Kiel. She announced recently that she’ll be retiring after this year’s Legislative session.  No Democrats have publicly announced plans to run for the House District 1B seat.
