Keeping your New Year’s Resolution
Almost 30 percent of Americans set a New Year’s Resolution at the beginning of the year, but studies have shown that more than half of these people will give up on their resolution in the first couple months of the year. If you are one of these people who have set a resolution, Kim Myers of Norman-Mahnomen Public Health says there are things you can do to keep yourself on track.
Myers says it’s also important to consider your lifestyle when constructing a resolution, and adjust it if it’s not compatible.
If you’re not doing so already, Myers says it’s also important for you to document your resolution, and schedule it in your daily planner, or phone.
You can listen to the full conversation with Kim Myers during the Access Health Program, which airs this Saturday at 8:00 AM on KRJB 106.5 FM, and Gold 101.5 FM KRJM.
