Kelly Thronson Memorial BBQ Recap 

It was another successful year for the Kelly Thronson Memorial BBQ this past weekend in Ada. This year, there were awards given out for best ribs, best chicken dish, and the ever popular people’s choice. R&J News’ Kevin Kochmann caught up with this year’s ribs and chicken winners Nathan Rutledge, and Paul Bergman to talk about their victories. 

It was a tight race in this year’s people’s choice race, as this year’s winner Taylor Gaughf walked away with the pig trophy, by just one vote. Kochmann also caught up with Gaughf to talk about this year’s competition, and his winning dish. 

This competition is put on in memory of Kelly Thronson, and one of this year’s competitors CJ Holl tells a story about his first interactions with Kelly Thronson.
