KKCQ, Jacobson Body Shop award grand prizes in successful Senior Send-off promotion
FOSSTON, MN – With the end of the school year upon us, another class of seniors are making the next step in their lives, graduating from high school. KKCQ and Jacobson Body Shop in Solway teamed up for the Senior Send-off promotion, where local businesses sponsored prizes for local seniors drawn on the radio through late April and May.
On May 19th, KKCQ’s Dawson Peterson and Tom Lano pulled the grand prize winners on the air, announcing Marissa Thomas of Red Lake County Central High School and Caleb Neeland of Bagley High School as the grand prize winners. They both won a 43″ television, mini-fridge, and $100 visa gift card, courtesy of Jacobson Body Shop.
68 prizes were awarded to local seniors, courtesy of many local businesses, with the goal of giving them gifts that would help them as they take the next step in their journey. Of the 68 winners, Clearbrook-Gonvick had a promotion-high 14 winners, with Red Lake Falls coming in second with ten, and Bagley in third with nine.
