Lake Park American Legion Fundraiser

LAKE PARK, MN—Fundraising for the rebuilding of American Legion Post 181 in Lake Park continues Sunday, June 25 with the Build Back Better event.  You’ll remember in March 2022, the Lake Park Legion Post was destroyed in a fire.  Post 181 Adjutant Karen Erickson talks about the need for the fundraiser.

Build Back Better runs from 11am to 7pm on Sunday at the Lake Park City Center and Fire Hall. There will be a raffle, silent auction, bake sale, food and prizes, as well as a beer garden. Erickson says she’s hoping for a big turnout Sunday because lots of people used the Legion as a place to meet and those people miss it.  Legion Post 181 in Lake Park is being rebuilt at the same site as the old building.
