Lake Park Audubon District Residents to consider pair of ballot measures
The 2026 Midterm Election is fast approaching, and voters in the Lake Park Audubon School District will be asked to consider a pair of ballot measures targeting school funding. Lake Park Audubon Superintendent Randy Berquist tells us more about the first question they will be asking voters to consider.
Despite question one being listed as a tax increase on the ballot, Berquist says that is misleading.
Voters will also have the chance to vote for a second question in regards to funding at Lake Park Audubon, and Berquist tells us more about what this is asking.
Question two can only pass with the passage on question one. R&J News will have more on the Lake Park Audubon referendum in future news broadcasts. You can also learn more about the referendum by going to www.lakeparkaudubon.com/page/referendum.
