Laura Lee Erickson and Michael Fairbanks Sworn into tribal office 

The White Earth Reservation Business Committee (RBC) held their 2024 Inauguration Tuesday afternoon and White Earth Chairman re-elect Michael Fairbanks , and District 3 Representative elect Laura Lee Erickson were sworn into the tribal council. Chairman Fairbanks says he’s honored to have been elected to another four year term and is eager to resume progress that’s been made by his team over his last term. 

Fairbanks says another priority he will have over the next four years of his term is building tribal membership. 

Laura Lee Erickson was also sworn into her new position as District 3 Representative on the Tribal Council, and she says that she is honored to be chosen for this new position, and she shared some of her priorities for her first term. 

Lee says another priority for her is to address the substance abuse crisis that is affecting many across the reservation. 

Lastly Chairman Fairbanks also spoke about Representative Lee, and the confidence he has in her abilities.
