Laurie Johnson settling into Waubun Superintendent Position
There’s a new face leading the Waubun-Ogema-White Earth School District, as Ogema Elementary Principal Laurie Johnson was recently hired to lead the district. R&J News had the opportunity to catch up with Johnson, who tells us more about her education background, which spans over 20 years.
Johnson says moving into the superintendent role is a big change, but she feels that it’s a good time to step into the position.
As for what she brings to the position, Johnson says that she brings a lot of experience, and a willingness to learn.
