LBF Baseball Drops Home Opener 15-5 to Mustangs

The Littlefork–Big Falls Vikings fell 15–5 to Kelliher/Northome at home, despite out-hitting the Mustangs nine to seven.
Offensively, Dayne Larson, Emmett Erickson, Jax Sullivan, and Cade Otteman each collected two hits, helping the Vikings put together a solid nine-hit effort.
Kelliher/Northome broke the game open in the fourth inning with a nine-run surge that proved to be the difference.
Postgame, players pointed to execution and energy as key takeaways moving forward.

Despite the loss, Emet Erickson had the highlight of the game when he opened the third inning with an inside the park home run.

The Vikings will look to regroup on Thursday when they travel to face Cherry.
