LBF Vikings Football Section 7 Semifinals

It was a dominant performance Saturday afternoon as the Littlefork-Big Falls Vikings punched their ticket to the Section 7 Nine-Man Championship game with a 35–0 shutout over South Ridge on John Thompson Field.

The Vikings now advance to face Cook County on Halloween night in Hibbing, with kickoff for the section title game set for 6 p.m.

Quarterback Jax Sullivan led the way with 100 yards passing and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 63 yards and another score.
Alex Davis added a 39-yard rushing touchdown, and Emet Erickson exploded for 44 receiving yards and 126 rushing yards, scoring twice.
Joey Kennedy chipped in with 56 receiving yards, a couple of two-point conversions, and six yards on the ground, while the defense was outstanding — Logan Wallander and Dylan Ferguson combined for five sacks.

The Vikings’ shutout was a complete team effort, with players noting improvement in ball security and a more aggressive mindset heading into the championship matchup.The LBF Vikings meet Cook County for the Section 7 9-Man Championship on Friday night at 6 p.m. in Hibbing, with the winner advancing to the State Tournament.
