Local Author celebrates Grandparents Day with Benedictine Living Community and Little Learners
Residents from Benedictine Living Community and kids at Little Learners Child Care in Ada were joined by local author Amy Aanenson to celebrate Grandparents Day on Monday morning. Cassie Visser of Benedictine Living Community – Ada tells us more about this special day.
R&J News had the opportunity to catch up with Aanenson after the event, and she shares more about herself, and how she became a published author.
Aanenson says being able to be a part of this Grandparents Day celebration was “Incredible”.
Visser spoke more on the importance of intergenerational programming at Little Learners Childcare and Benedictine Living Community, and the benefits it brings to both the kids and residents.
