Local Harvest Update 

Wheat harvest is mostly complete in the Red River Valley. Jeremy Sather of Agrimax in Fertile says this year’s wheat harvest went well, and he tells us what he saw in this year’s crop. 

Soybeans will be up next for producers in the valley, and Sather says the soybeans have rebounded well in the second half of the growing season. 

As for corn, Sather says he is not worried about stem loss, but he is a little worried about heat, as he has seen no black layer yet.
