Local producers gearing up for spring planting season 

The Red River Valley Sugarbeet planting season is fast approaching, and local producers are anxiously waiting to get out in the field. But it’s not just growers who are ready to get out, Dr Eric Branch of NDSU Extension says he and other researchers are also anxious to get out. 

Once you’re able to get out in the field, Branch says one thing producers will have to be on on top of this year is Cercospora Leaf Spot. 

Branch shares some other things you should be aware of during the planting/growing season as well.
