Mahnomen City Council Meets

MAHNOMEN, MN—The Mahnomen City Council was busy at Tuesday night’s regular meeting.  Mahnomen City Administrator Taylor Guenther says the Council voted to buy a lot on Main Street.

Guenther says the City of Mahnomen has been asking local artists to design a canoe that would be placed in front of City Hall…and the Council chose a design Tuesday.

In other business, the Mahnomen City Council approved a two year contract with White Earth Police for policing in the city.  And the Council also voted to move ahead with preliminary platting of the city’s industrial park.
