Mahnomen City Council Meets

MAHNOMEN, MN—  The Mahnomen City Council approved a couple of road projects at Monday night’s Council meeting.  Mahnomen City Administrator Taylor Guenther says the first project will deal with parking downtown.

Guenther says a project was also approved for work on County State Aid Highways 9 and 10.

Guenther also told R&J News that she and city and county officials will be making another trip to the State Capitol to encourage lawmakers to support Mahnomen Hospital in this year’s bonding bill.  The hospital is in need of repairs and the City has frequently asked the State to give financial support for those repairs.
