Mahnomen City Council Meets

MAHNOMEN, MN—Monday’s Mahnomen City Council meeting was a quick one, lasting 23 minutes.  Mahnomen City Administrator Taylor Guenther says the Council approved the purchase of several tree grates for the downtown area.

Another issue the Council addressed was a suggestion that the City install kiosks for used needles in certain areas of Mahnomen.  Guenther says this was not a formal agenda item, but a majority of Council members were not in favor of it.

Guenther also reminds Mahnomen residents that city streets will be swept on April 21.  All vehicles should be off Mahnomen city streets by 5am on April 21.
