Mahnomen Health Center holding public hearing on their transition to a Rural Emergency Hospital
The Mahnomen Health Center will be holding a Public Hearing hearing on Tuesday, April 30 as the Hospital will be transitioning to a Rural Emergency Hospital. Mahnomen Health Center CEO Dale Kruger tells us more about the hearing and what the transition means.
Kruger says an official transition date has not been set, and he expects the community to not notice any differences in the care they receive once the change is made.
Kruger says the transition will also have no effect on their chances of getting state funding for their proposed hospital construction and renovation project.
The hearing will be hosted by the Minnesota Department of Health’s Health Regulation Division. People interested in participating can join the public hearing via the Microsoft Teams event Mahnomen Health Center public hearing or by calling 651-395-7448 and using the access code 898 653 172#.
