Mahnomen Liquor Store Seeks Revenue

MAHNOMEN, MN—In tough financial times, cities and counties look for revenue wherever they can.  One source of revenue for Minnesota cities is a municipal liquor store.  But Mahnomen City Administrator Taylor Guenther says revenues from their liquor store have been falling.

Guenther says there isn’t a kitchen at Mahnomen’s bar and liquor store yet.

Mahnomen’s liquor store and bar also has a new assistant manager after Alice Moore was promoted to the job in February.
