Mahnomen School Board approves revised budget 

The Mahnomen School Board approved a revised budget at their regular meeting on Monday night. Mahnomen Superintendent Andrea Simon tells us what’s changing, and how that will affect the budget. 

Simon is also happy to report that their audit came back clean, which means they have a truth and taxation meeting coming up. 

As for other agenda items, Simon says they also had discussions regarding the district’s recent impact aid and federal programs meetings. 

Simon also gave a staffing update, as the district is looking to fill some open positions. 

Other agenda items included administrative reports, and the approval of the school’s licensed and non-licensed staff seniority list.
