Mahnomen school to have on early out today 

The Mahnomen-Waubun Thunderbirds Football team is playing in the Minnesota State Football Tournament today, and in response the Mahnomen School district has adjusted their school schedule for today. Mahnomen Activities Director Aimee Pederson says the High School will be having an early out today, as well as a sendoff for the football team. 

In other school news, Pederson also reminds parents to make sure they are sending their children to school in weather appropriate clothing, as the cool fall temperatures have arrived.
