Mahnomen Students compete in district spelling bee and subsection solo contest

It was a busy week for students at the Mahnomen School District as many were involved in a series of activities over the last week. Mahnomen Activities Director Amiee Pederson says they just wrapped up their district spelling bee and she has the results. 

Pederson says the Mahnomen music department saw a lot of success at the sub section solo contest earlier this week as well. 

For the first time in school history two students were inducted into the Minnesota Wildlife Society. Pederson shares more.
