Mahnomen Water Plant Shut Down

MAHNOMEN, MN—Mahnomen residents are being asked to conserve water after a breakdown at the city’s water plant on Sunday.  Mahnomen City Administrator Taylor Vonderhaar gives us this update.

Vonderhaar says water is still going through the system, but with lower water pressure.  She was asked if a boil order is in place.

Vonderhaar was also asked what would happen if there’s a fire.

Once again, Mahnomen residents are being asked to conserve water while repairs are being made to the city’s water plant.   Vonderhaar says it’s hoped those repairs would be finished this afternoon.  R&J Broadcasting will keep you updated on the situation.
