Mahnomen-Waubun Thunderbird mascot update 

The Mahnomen-Waubun school districts continue to work on a plan for the two districts to continue to use the Thunderbird name. Recent Minnesota legislation prohibited the use of logos and mascots depicting Native American culture in Schools. Waubun Principle Jordan Spaeth updates us on where their exemption process stands.  

Spaeth says they have also been working with White Earth Nation during this process.

Spaeth also gave a possible timeline on when they should know if their exemption was accepted by the state.
