Make A Blanket Day Saturday

Volunteers are needed to make blankets on Saturday.  The Norman/Mahnomen Counties Chapter of Project Linus will be making blankets from 9am to 3:30pm Saturday at the Good News Fellowship Church in Gary.  Kay Oakland, who’s in charge of the local chapter of Project Linus, talks about her organization.

Oakland says last year, her group donated 262 blankets to area hospitals and agencies that serve children.  She says the blankets they will be making won’t be large.
