Man From Fisher Accused Of Sending Sex Messages To Teen

A man from Fisher has been charged for allegedly sending sexual messages to a teen girl.  One charge of luring minors by computer has been filed in Traill County Court against Kyle Jon Ness. Court records say a woman contacted the sheriff’s office in January 2024 after discovering messages between Ness and her daughter. Court documents indicate Ness was 45-years-old and the girl was 17-years-old at the time the messages were exchanged.  During a search of the girl’s cell phone, investigators found sexually explicit messages from Ness between December 1 and December 28, 2023. An arrest warrant for Ness was issued in Traill County on July 15 and he has since been taken into custody. His initial court appearance was August 14, where he posted a $4,000 bond and was released.  Ness is scheduled to be in court again on September 18.
