Mayville Public Library Remains Closed

The Mayville Public Library has been quiet for about three weeks.  The library closed in early January when librarian Margaret Rice asked to go on medical leave.  Then on January 12, Rice passed away at her home.  Since then, the library has remained closed with no reopening date on the horizon.  The Mayville Library Board’s next scheduled meeting is February 12 at 10am.
