McGregor City Council meeting from May 3rd

(McGregor, MN) — The McGregor City Council held their monthly meeting on Tuesday with action taking place on the Community Center building foundation’s issues and a new fire truck for the McGregor Fire Department.
Mayor Dake Olson noted the City of McGregor deciding on a consulting firm to handle the Budget.
Damage and vandalism at the Pine Rail Park was also addressed with law enforcement getting involved.
Northland Consulting Engineering reported to the McGregor Community Center on some land and foundation concerns for potential renovations.
Olson also noted approval of a new fire truck for a cost of $20,000 and the need for placement of emergency equipment.
The Ebert Property that the City owns will be dealt with the bids coming for its demolition.
The McGregor City Council next meets June 7th at 6pm from the McGregor Fire Station.
