McGregor School Board discusses Truth and Taxation during Meeting on November 28th
The McGregor School Board met on Monday, November 28th at the High School Library.
The Board approved a donation of $500 from Ruby’s Pantry toward lunch accounts.
The Truth and Taxation Hearing was highlighted by Business Manager Shawna Dalchow presenting how the final levy numbers are calculated from a local, county, and state level.
The board approved the Final 2022 – Payable 2023 levy for $1,464,888.31, the resignations of Broderick Simonson as the E-Cig Prevention Coordinator and paraprofessional Helen Olson, and the revised MSBA Model Policy 534 – Unpaid Meal Charges
A revision of the Fiscal Year 2023 Budget was also reviewed at the meeting.
Superintendent Brad Johnson reported on attendance for Parent/Teacher Conferences for both elementary and high schools families.
Employment Background Check and Volunteers for Educational Programs Policies were also discussed, as well as whether to assign board mentors to newly elected board members.
The McGregor School Board will have a Work Session Meeting on Monday, December 12th at 6pm with their regular meeting on December 19th.
