McGregor School discusses Substitute Pay Rate, Pow Wow at April 11th Work Session

(McGregor, MN) — Discussion topics on the Teacher Substitute Pay Rate and the District Pow Wow covered the Work Session meeting of the McGregor School Board from Monday, April 11th in the High School Library.

Superintendent and Elementary Principal Brad Johnson noted the difference in substitute pay rates for other area school districts.

Johnson did present this option of increasing the pay rate.

Superintendent Johnson will present a recommendation at the April 25th Regular School Board meeting for Board Approval. He also talked about a date for the ISD #4 Pow Wow.

Superintendent Johnson spoke about the event being a crucial element of the District’s Strategic Plan. 

The ISD #4 Pow Wow will be May 19th from 12-3pm in the McGregor Gymnasium. The Board was also informed on the near opening of a new fitness center in the City.

The McGregor School Board will hold their next regular meeting on April 25th at 6pm from the High School Library.
