Memorial Day Events and Significance w/ La Lynda Blotsky

On Monday, May 26th our nation takes a day off for Memorial Day. Traill County Veterans Service Officer La Lynda Blotsky reminds us to not just take a day off, but to remember those that have given everything in service to protect our country. The memorial wall in Hillsboro will see a new addition this Memorial Day, honoring a special anniversary.

Blotsky also encourages everyone to visit other Memorial Day events, some of which are being hosted in Fargo and Harwood.

Blotsky reminds everyone to take some time on their day off to remember the meaning of Memorial Day and that freedom is never free.

As the Traill County Veterans Service Officer, La Lynda reminds us of the services offered to veterans through her and the North Dakota Department of Veteran Affairs.
