Mental Health Funding For Construction Workers
ST. PAUL, MN—There’s a bill in the Minnesota Senate that would set aside a million dollars over the next two years for mental health resources for construction workers. Senator Judy Seeberger (DFL-Afton) is the bill’s sponsor.
Seeberger says there’s a difference in suicide rates with construction workers compared to the general public.
Seeberger says she’s hopeful her bill will be passed before the Minnesota Legislature’s 2025 session ends next week.
