Minnesota BCA Investigates Fatal Crookston Shooting

CROOKSTON, MN—One man is dead after a shooting late Sunday night in Crookston.  Crookston Police were called to the Care and Share homeless shelter around 11:45pm for a report of a fight.  When officers arrived, they found a man who would not respond to the officers.  Less lethal ways were used to subdue the man, but didn’t work.  Then an officer fired their weapon and hit the man.  The man died at the scene.  No names have been released.  The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating.
