Minnesota Bear Season Preview 

Minnesota’s bear hunting season is under a month away, and licenses still remain in some areas. DNR Northwest Area Wildlife Supervisor Rob Baden tells us about some changes made to the bear hunting season, as well as other information hunters need to know ahead of the season. 

While the bear numbers are high, Baden says it may still be a tough year for hunters. 

There used to be a time where you rarely saw a bear in Northwest Minnesota, and Baden explains why he thinks we’re seeing more bears on the Minnesota landscape.
