Minnesota Broadcasters Association James Wychor Scholarship accepting applicants 

The Minnesota Broadcasters Association James Wychor Scholarship is accepting applications for Minnesota High School Students interested in pursuing a career in broadcasting. To be eligible for the scholarship students must. 

• Be a Minnesota high school senior 
• Have an emphasis or major in mass communications, marketing, engineering/technical, video/audio production, editing or other broadcast field. 
• Be a full-time student registered or attending a recognized Minnesota State High School Member School.

Students do not have to be attending a Minnesota post-secondary school, or a Minnesota Broadcasters Association member to apply.

• Resume
• Cover Letter that includes:
• -Why you are choosing broadcasting as a career
  -Describe how you intend to use the scholarship funds
  -Address the letter to the Scholarship Committee
• Links to videos or audio of work samples if available. (not required)
• Volunteer experience and other community service/involvement
• Letter of recommendation from a school counselor, school faculty, coach, activities coach or professional contact

Applicants must address the letter to the Scholarship Committee.
