Minnesota Deer Population continuing to recover after another mild winter

Winter weather is often a major indicator of how the deer population will look like for the next year, and if you’re one of the over 200,000 deer hunters in Minnesota we’ve got some good news for you. Minnesota DNR Wildlife Supervisor Rob Baden tells us what this past winter indicates for deer populations in 2025, and what it could mean for the 2025 hunting seasons. 

Yearling deer and other animals are going to be abundant on the Minnesota landscape soon, and Baden also reminds people to let nature take care of itself, and leave baby animals alone, as you can end up doing more damage than good.
