Minnesota DNR offering webinars on winter outdoor skills
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is offering free webinars through the Minnesota Outdoor Skills and Stewardship Series that are focused on winter outdoor skills.
These webinars will cover a plethora of topics that include winter sports, owls, the northern lights, mudpuppies, reading the snow for animal tracks, ice fishing, boats and boating equipment, fish art, wolves, deer in winter, lynx and muskrats, winter foraging, and Critical Habitat license plates.
In a webinar on Wednesday, December 6, a variety of experts will discuss outdoor sports that take place on ice including ice boating, ice climbing and more. During these webinars participants will also learn more about these sports and how to participate.
The Minnesota Outdoor Skills and Stewardship Series webinars are free and offered year-round, though registration is required. To register visit the Outdoor Skills and Stewardship webpage at Minnesota DNR website www.dnr.state.mn.us.
