Minnesota winter travel

If you’re going to be traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday, or anytime during the winter months, Ada Police Chief Steve Hager recommends using the 511 app to get the latest travel information–for where you are now, and where you’re going.  Hager shares a personal anecdote.

Something many drivers do in the winter is leave their car running when they stop into the store. Hager says that’s a good way to get your car stolen.

Hager also suggests drivers get used to sloppy road conditions, because they will be with us for the next few months, and drive carefully. Hager appeared on KRJB-FM’s Kaleidoscope program.
