MN Sen. Johnson On Gov. Walz
With Kamala Harris’s defeat in the Presidential election Tuesday, her running mate, Tim Walz, will continue as Minnesota’s governor. Minnesota Senate Minority Leader Mark Johnson says a Harris victory would have had repercussions in state leadership.
During the vice presidential debate, Walz said “my community knows me.” After seeing Walz on the campaign trail, Johnson wonders if that is still the case.
Johnson also points out that no one has lost their job over the Feeding Our Future scandal where 47 people have been charged with stealing $250 million from the federal child nutrition program. Five defendants were found guilty in a trial this past June.
