MN Support For Nursing Schools

Two members of Congress from Minnesota have re-introduced a bill that aims to support hospital-based nursing schools.  Representatives Michelle Fischbach and Angie Craig, along with Illinois Congressman Darin LaHood, have re-introduced the Rebuild America’s Health Care Schools Act.  Fischbach says the bill will allow federal nursing and allied health students to receive training in rural areas, which will ease staffing strains in those facilities.  Craig says every American deserves reliable, high quality health care and that starts with uplifting our medical education and hospital-based training programs.
