Move over for emergency vehicles, its the law
Each year, dozens of emergency personnel are struck and killed by vehicles while working on a roadway incident. This number is very concerning, and in response the State of Minnesota has laws in place to protect our emergency personnel called Ted Foss Laws. Norman County Sheriff Ben Fall tells us what you should do if you hear an emergency vehicle approaching you on the road.
Fall says you should also slow down and move over for emergency vehicles that are parked alongside the road.
More information about Minnesota’s Ted Foss Laws can be seen on the Minnesota Department of Public Safety website at dps.mn.gov.
