Muskies Girls Hockey – 24-25 Season Preview
In Fort Frances, the Muskie Girls Hockey team has been hitting the ice a lot and already has an undefeated start to their season following their domination at the Huskie Invite. I made a stop at IFK Arena to talk to some of the Muskies on the team.
And I also asked them how long they’ve been playing Hockey.
Then, they talked about the Huskie Invite and their thoughts on it now that they’ve had a couple weeks to sit on it.
And now how have they been preparing for Friday and Saturday’s games in the states against East Grand Forks and Detroit Lakes.
Of course, another American team that they play often is the Broncos in the famous Border Battle. Which the girls were asked how long it’s been a known rivalry for them growing up.
(Head Coach Jordan Larson asked me to leave in Ophelia’s stutter) Freshman Logan Neurinski was then asked how she’s feeling about being on the varsity girls hockey team.
Then, Senior Ophelia Lucas-Engberg was asked how she’s feeling going into her final year as a Muskie.
Now what are some NORWOSSA games they are looking forward to?
Finally, the girls were asked what their goals are for the season.
The Muskie Girls team will first take on East Grand Forks with a puck drop at 5:30pm on Friday, and then they’ll play Detroit Lakes on Saturday with puck drop at 6pm.
