Names Released In Fatal Crash Near Buxton

Here’s an update to a story R&J News has been following.  The two people involved in a fatal one vehicle crash near Buxton on Wednesday have been identified.  The North Dakota Highway Patrol says 39-year-old Randi Rae Crepps of Minot died in the accident and 74-year-old Steven Brekhus of Kenmare sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a Fargo hospital.  The accident happened Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 29, three and a half miles south of Buxton, when the driver lost control on the icy road and the vehicle went into the ditch and overturned.  The Highway Patrol is still investigating and trying to determine who was driving at the time of the crash.
