ND Early Canada Goose Season Begins Soon

The dates for North Dakota’s early Canada Goose season have been set….with bag limits and licensing requirements the same as last year.  Opening day will be August 15 in all three zones. Closing dates are September 7 in the Missouri River zone, September 15 in the western zone and September 20 in the eastern zone.  Early Canada Goose limits are 15 daily and 45 in possession.  Limits and shooting hours are different than the regular Canada Goose season.  Shooting hours for the early season are a half hour before sunrise until sunset.  You can buy a North Dakota early Canada Goose hunting license through this link: https://gf.nd.gov/buy-apply
